Spokane Melody Singers . . .

Is a men's chorus that has been singing continuously since 1926. The group was organized by a Wall Street barber named Bill Parks who found other men interested in singing, principally to glorify God, and started the group.

Today, in continuing the tradition, we number 12-15 men from many different denominations. Our songs are primarily gospel and patriotic music which we sing without charge at churches, retirement centers and special events.

We sing for the joy of singing and the joy it brings to our audience. We schedule one or two concerts a month from September through May.  We are currently practicing on Tuesday nights.

Our members have come from far and wide:  Coeur d'Alene to the east and Spangle on the south. Many have been members for a decade or two.
